The Upper School Peer Counseling Program

Peer Counseling is a club made up of students interested in helping others effectively handle problems they may confront.  Peer counselors receive training in active listening, effective communication, and problem solving.  They also explore issues affecting teens such as stress, depression, and conflicts with parents.  This year, the club sponsored assemblies in the Upper School, organized presentations for freshmen on stress management, and met with 7th grade classes to discuss friendships and relationships.
